Bead Table Wednesday

     I have been making more goodies for my jewelry party.  There is nothing like a set date and RSVP's to get your creativity going. 
     My 10 year old daughter tried out for her school play today.  I am so proud of her.  she has a beautiful voice and a spunky personality.  I told her even if she doesn't get a part she is already a winner because she faced her fears and tried out.  Fingers are crossed for her. 

     Here is a picture of my bead table.  What a mess!!!! That just means I'm having fun.

Bead fever!

I woke up this morning, sent my kids off to school, and stepped into my studio.  I put on pandora radio on the Adele station and got to work.  I was in the groove.  I had a productive day. 

Here is some of what I made.   This first necklace you can wear short or long.  I put a lobster claw on one end and fashioned a hook clasp on the other side.

  This necklace is perfect for fall.

 This final one is made of ceramic rings.  I love the colors on the rings.

Jewelry Party

     I am so excited!  I am having my first jewelry party in November.  My friends have all been so supportive of me.  
     Here is some new jewelry that will be at the party.

Studio setup

I set up an area in my studio where my friends and neighbors can shop.  I bought the printer box at the Brimfield fair.  It already had the hanger on the back.  The old iron racks I got from a junk shop in Maine a couple of years ago.  I am happy with how it turned out.

 I also made a couple new bracelets.

It's a wrap

I was inspired by Lorelei to try a wrapped bracelet.  She was kind enough to share a link on how to make one of these beauties.  I think they turned out well. 

 I found these beautiful shell beads in of all places Joanne's fabrics.  I love the earthy colors.

Brimfield Fair

My friend Stephanie and I went to the Brimfield Fair today.  We took our kids and they were troopers.  It was extremely hot and humid.  As always Brimfield was a feast for the eyes.  I absolutely love it. 

 These ceramic hands were cool looking.  O.K. maybe a little creepy too.

I love how this vendor displayed his treasures.

 I purchased some beautiful pewter beads.

And a printer drawer to store some of my beads in.

When I got home I couldn't wait to make something with my new beads.  I think this bracelet turned out pretty well.  Let me know what you think.

Back from a long break

Wow I took a long break from blogging!  My sister has been battling pancreatic cancer and I haven't felt like beading.  My sister is the most sweet, funny, intelligent, kind, authentic person you could ever meet.  She brings enthusiasm and joy into the lives of everyone she knows.  People who know and love her have asked her what they can do to help her.  She has requested that everyone attempt to be kind to others.  That tells you so much about who she is.  In honor of her request I am posting this amazing list.
